Professional Summary:
I am an award-winning Designated Linklater Teacher (DLT) and Designated Meisner Teacher (DMT) who specialises in teaching Linklater Voice Work and the Meisner Acting Technique. I am the first and only teacher in the world who is able to teach both techniques in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I am also the first and only DLT and DMT based in China. I taught at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, People’s Republic of China, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, from 2018-2021. I have worked on the movie sets of “The Battle At Lake Changjin” (2021) and “Melodies of the Abyss” (2025) as the sole acting coach. I am also an award-winning scholar, and have taught internationally in the United Kingdom, Australia and China. I am now pioneering my own integrated approach, the Chu Acting Method, in China.
